ATHLETE TESTIMONIALS

Hear from the athletes themselves

"Coach Hopkins is the real deal - sharp but relaxed.  He has elevated my running for over a decade; keeping me competitive and injury-free.  He's easy to contact and always patient, thoughtful, and intentional with his guidance.  I'm healthier, stronger, and faster than I was when I ran D1 in college.  Best coach I've ever had."

Sean Prinz

"Sean was my post collegiate coach for 2 years and those ended up being the best years of running in my life.  There was never a workout or race where he wasn't sprinting across the track to cheer me on, yelling the loudest in a group of spectators or greeting me at the finish line super excited for me no matter the outcome.  In college I never felt like I ever found a running distance I liked racing and to be honest I often found myself questioning running.  Then one day Sean introduced me to the half marathon, and he made me fall in love with running again.  I ended up running 1:25 for my first half marathon with only 3 months of training.  Even if he wasn't able to make it to a workout, the second I checked my phone I had a text message from Sean asking me how I felt, what my time or splits were and asking for a grade "A to F".  My workouts and runs were always designed for what was best for me and my body and I feel this was one of the reasons I never had a running related injury while Sean was coaching me.  Not only did Sean make me a successful runner, he made running a lifelong passion for me."

Lauren Moskal

“Sean is an excellent, caring coach. Knowledgeable and always excited - he spent a lot of his time helping me with workouts and supporting me at races. He was very attentive not only to my needs as an athlete but as a person as well. When I met Sean I just started nursing school, working 20hrs a week and was still trying to run well. Sean was able to coach me to a 4:03 in the 1500m and 15:52 in the 5k with only 4-5 days of training per week due to my schedule. Prior to meeting Sean my ambition was waning. He helped me find the excitement in running again. He was not only an excellent coach but also a great mentor and a wonderful friend.”
